Forensic Engineer and Expert Witness
Adam Aleksander has an extensive CV based on hands-on experience, not just academic research. This aspect differentiates Aleksander & Associates P.A. from many consultants who lack actual field experience. Aleksander brings to the table a wide range of experience ranging from large construction projects, heavy equipment, industrial environments, power utilities, and international projects, down to small scale projects involving a bolt failure, a safety issue, or a specific warning. In addition to a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aleksander holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering specializing in Human Factors and Ergonomics, and Safety. He is also a Certified Safety Professional, (CSP) and active in national level engineering organizations.
The first forensic assignment for Adam Aleksander was in 1975, to photograph injuries to a burned child who had the misfortune to be involved in a floor heater fire in a modular home. Since then there have been many cases, many unfortunate circumstances that needed investigation.
Aleksander remembers the words of Don Myronuk PhD PE (Deceased) a former Professor, who in 1987 said " What good are advanced degrees if we don't apply them to the needs of the public?" Adam Aleksander follows in these footsteps, and understands that the average person involved in life's events tragedies needs a trained, educated, and experienced person to assist in these difficult but necessary investigations.
As an expert witness Aleksander has worked with many clients, including plaintiff's and defendant's attorneys, both civil and criminal, attorneys representing corporations, corporations in the power utility area, and corporations that produce products.
ALEKSANDER & ASSOCIATES P.A. began in 1987 and incorporated in 1996 in Boise ID and has served primarily the Western US. Our central location provides relatively easy access to San Diego, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland and Seattle.
